I'm Emcee. I'm a twentysomething Canadian (well, Canadian/American, if you want to get technical) with frequent bouts of creativity. I have a deep appreciation for media of all sorts and will often talk about it. My mood is ever-changable and you can never really tell what's going to strike my fancy on a specific day. I can occasionally be sarcastic and snarky, especially towards the fandoms of my interest (I snark because I love, okay?). I'm an independent comic writer/artist, which means I make money working in an office.
My Fandoms
A longtime fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, a love which still remains. Also a longtime fan of Harry Potter, though that interest has waned with the last two books. A huge fan of all sorts of comics, both American and Japanese. My "fandoms" would have to be X-Men and Batman, thought I have interest in all (and my own comic endeavors mean I don't have time to get too into any fandom these days). Also a big fan of Doctor Who, Highlander and various other Sci-Fi/Fantasy shows. I am a big fan of Japanese rock, particularly L'Arc~En~Ciel and the solo work of Hyde. I'm also a fan of Gackt. I also love the Beatles, the Who, the Monkees, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana.
I have huge crushes on Vincent Kartheiser, Seth Green, Hyde, Chiaki Kuriyama, Anna Paquin and David Tennant. Just to warn you.
In my Journal
A random assortment of fandom musings, updates on my real life, ramblings about my RPG, any random thought that really comes into my head... Seriously. If I think it'll make an interesting LJ entry, it goes up. It's a hodge-podge of observations.
I used to post a lot of fan fiction and fan art, but as I've gotten busy, this has dwindled. Occasionally something new will go up, but I really don't do this much anymore as I have devoted my time to writing/art outside of fandom.
Friending Policy
This journal is friend's only. However, I have a pretty open friending policy. As long as you comment in this entry and tell me a bit about yourself, then I'll friend you back. I just like to know who's actually reading what I'm writing.
